I’m Kathryn Medina, a proud second‑generation Mexican‑American born into a family of strong women who taught me not to let barriers - real or imagined - hold me back from pursuing my dreams. My journey began in South Texas and has taken me around the world, rising through the ranks of management and leadership. Along the way, I’ve learned what it means to navigate complex systems, build bridges across communities, and lead with both vision and empathy. Those experiences gave me the tools to succeed at the highest levels — but more importantly, they revealed how often Latinas are left out of the rooms where decisions are made.
That’s why I founded Latina Living Collective: to create a space where our heritage is celebrated, our accomplishments are amplified, and our everyday heroism is honored. Latina Living is about more than success — it’s about building a movement that ensures our voices aren’t just heard, but centered in shaping the future. This work is my passion, my legacy, and my invitation to you. Together, we can expand representation, empower one another, and create lasting impact for generations to come.

My life has been shaped by experiences like this one - being selected for the inaugural class of an elite leadership program that was part of President Obama's vision of building a network of leaders ready to lead and influence at the highest levels of government; here I am (far left) at one of our group meetings with the President.
My passion for elevating Latina voices has been built over many years of meeting and working with amazing Latinas at all levels of leadership and across many different sectors and industries. One of the most inspiring has been Dr. Adriana Kugler, the first Hispanic person and the first Latina in history to serve on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
