A Message from Founder, Kathryn M Medina
I’m a second‑generation Mexican‑American who grew up at a time when the surest path to success was assimilation.
I learned to blend in — and that approach took me far.
It wasn’t until much later in my journey that I realized how much power I had been leaving behind by denying the complexity of my whole identity.
Reclaiming who I am has been empowering, not only for me, but for others who seek to reach the highest levels of corporate executive leadership. I now have a responsibility to widen the path for others.
I founded Living Latina to create what I never had: a space where Latinas don’t have to choose between success and identity - and to be a catalyst and a force for re-defining our collective place in society.
This work is my evolution, my purpose, and my invitation to you: to rise fully, lead boldly, and shape the world to not just include us - but honor and celebrate us.
